Our Staff

Our friendly, experienced staff is one of our greatest assets. We know that you will feel the same once you have worked with any of them.

Cindy Kirchner
Legal Assistant

Cindy is the firm’s primary contact for all real estate title work and closings. She excels in the areas of probate and trust administration and business planning and she is often our go-to person for IT issues. Cindy remains calm, even when the computers aren’t working or our clients have urgent issues that need to be addressed right away. She pays attention to the details of each project to make sure the final product is right. And, she is the “Cindy” of “Cookies by Cindy” that you will find in our waiting room and at various locations around Tiffin! Cindy, a life-long resident of Seneca County, and her husband, Vince, have three grown sons, Micah, Sean, and Joel.

Libby Dell Zimmerman
Legal Assistant

Libby has the longest tenure of anyone in the office. She began working with her father, Patrick Dell, in 1989, and now works with her sister, Jane Dell, and brother-in-law, Paul Burtis, keeping our firm a family tradition. In addition to her paralegal work in the areas of probate, guardianships, and estate and trust administration, Libby has an invaluable ability to connect with and remember people. Libby graduated from Western Michigan University and became a Legal Assistant after completing the Legal Assisting Baccalaureate Certificate Program at the University of Toledo. She and her husband, Mark, have two boys, Jacob and Alec, and a barn full of animals, including an alpaca!

Jolene Autullo
Legal Assistant

Jolene, the newest member of our firm, joined us in 2010. She is the first person visitors see when they come into our office. She is an effective and knowledgeable legal assistant. Jolene works on varied projects in our office and is especially adept at multitasking and anticipating which project tasks need to be done next . She is a valuable and much appreciated member of our law firm family. Jolene, a 2001 graduate of Columbian High School, has one son, Dylan, as well as her extended Autullo family in Tiffin.

Bill Anspach

After retiring from a successful career as a human relations executive for several large companies, Bill joined our firm as our clerk/runner. Bill proudly admits being “old school” - he works hard, pays attention to detail, and makes sure that the job is done right, without drawing attention to himself or his work. You will often see Bill filing documents in the Courts and the RTA building. Bill, a Tiffin native who has been nationally ranked among elite athletes for biathlons (running and biking) and other rigorous distance events, is married to Becky and has two grown children, Scott and Kim.

Joe Scherger

Having retired from the accounting/bookkeeping department of a large manufacturer after 35 years, Joe came to work in our office. Joe has steadily and consistently kept our books and trust accounts in pristine order since then. He has a terrific sense of humor and perspective on life. Joe and his wife, Rita, live in Tiffin and have four grown children, Cindy, Dan, Jeff and Karen, and 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Theresa Hurley

Theresa started working for our firm running errands as a sophomore in high school. She has been kind enough to continue to help us out “after school” through her college career and, now, her career as a pre-school teacher. Theresa is a rock star among all the kids twelve and under at Calvert Catholic Schools! We are fortunate to have her as part of our law firm family.
